Natural Resource Day was kicked off by Susan Henning and Hopper the Frog.

The Kay County Conservation District hosted and organized this year's Natural Resource Day for Kay County School Districts 3rd and 4th grade classes. The schools participating this year were Kildare, Peckham, Newkirk and Blackwell High School Special Ed Class. The day of hands on learning was opened by retired Conservation District Employee Susan Henning with a puppet show. Hopper was played by Melanie Miller. Susan & Hopper talked about how important is is to care for our water and land.
